Job Description

The Accounts Payable Team Leader will oversee and participate in the efficient, timely and accurate payment of supplier invoices, while also ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded.Client DetailsThis company is a leading manufacturing business based in Skelmersdale.   • Lead, motivate, and manage a high-performing accounts payable team.
  • Ensure supplier invoices are paid in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Oversee the monthly and yearly closing of accounts payable records.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and audits.
  • Manage and resolve any accounts payable queries.
ProfileA successful Accounts Payable Team Leader should have:
  • Experience in a accounts payable management role.
  • A solid understanding of accounts payable processes.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing a team.
