Working 5 out of 7 days, some weekend working will be required, likely one weekend day a week.This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year.Salary: £27,000 per yearDuration: Permanent contractInterview Date: w/c 23rd January 2023 What its like to work here Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, youll be based at Shugborough Estate, home to the Anson family since 1624. The estate includes a Georgian mansion house with magnificent views over the riverside garden terraces, Grade 1listed parkland, walled garden and working farm. Italso features a caf and tea room, second-hand bookshop and two retail outlets. Shugborough is supported by a passionate, engaging and hardworking team of staff and volunteers who love what they do and lovesharing it with visitors. What youll be doing Youll work with our Food & Beverage Manager to manage our entire Food & Beverage operation. Youll always consider how we can do it better, more efficiently, and how we can deliver an even tastier result for our visitors.As an Assistant Manager youll support the team to ensure we are compliant and that every food and drink order is beautifully presented and served with a smile.Using your excellent attention to detail, youll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served, looks delicious.Youll also support from a financial aspect to ensure stock & waste is managed and seek opportunities to increase income.Youll receive a bespoke induction along with allergen/food safety training. • Good people management skills, including setting personal objectives and providing feedback
• Knowledge of budgets, increasing income and controlling costs, including stock and waste management
• Helpful & friendly with a positive attitude
• Customer focused with great communication skills
• Aware of Health & Safety compliance
