Job Description

Childrens Home Registered ManagerSalary/Benefits circa £45,000 depending on experience £2,000 Starting Bonus*Edison Young People is a dedicated company to the care and education of the most vulnerable children and young people in our society. The role of a Childrens Home Registered Manager:
  • Managing the home to an Outstanding standard with Ofsted.
  • Liaising with local authorities to develop individual care plans.
  • Supervising, supporting, and leading your team to deliver the highest level of care to our young people.
  • Working closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure the home goes over and above in providing exceptional care.
  • Assisting with the development of policies and procedures and compliancy with Ofsted.
  • Accountability for the regulatory performance of the home.
  • Ensuring care is delivered in-line with each childs individual care plan and objectives.
  • Monitoring the outcomes and progress of the home and the young people you support.
What do you need to work as a Childrens Home Registered Manager
  • Have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Either have, or be working towards, the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
  • Able to work Monday to Friday and share in the on-call rota for emergencies.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Childrens Homes regulations, health, and safety legislation, COSHH, and other relevant legislation.
  • Strong leadership, supervisory and people management skills.
  • Emotional resilience and passion to achieve outstanding outcomes for your young people.
  • A "Good" or "Outstanding" grade within your recent Ofsted Inspections
