We’re recruiting for aSenior Finance Business Partner to support our operational leadership teams with data and analysis that helps shape decision making. Thecandidate will be a Qualified finance professional with business partnering experience at a mid - senior level.This is a true Finance Business Partner role and you’ll be directly influencing how the Stonegate business develops and evolves.The key purpose of this role is support operations with data and analysis that aid decision making.The role will be aligned to our divisional operations team and will require working with multiple stakeholders across the business to ensure that they havethe best data and insight available to make decisions.Key responsibilities of a Senior Finance Business Partner:

• Finance Business partner to the OD of your division
• Presenting key FP&A messages at weekly and monthly ops meetings
• Offer financial support to your Area Managers to implement profitable actions
• Identify profitable opportunities within your division in-line with the business strategy
• Exception reporting and analysis to focus on areas of under performance
• Trend analysis across multiple different KPI’s to identify good and bad performance vs expectation/market and sport downturns before they happen
• Working with other areas of the business to ensure well rounded insight is at the heart of decision making
• Input into target setting processes for managed pubs including, meetings support, cost line forecasting and scenario modelling
• Divisional ownership of the periodic forecast process and controllable profit outturn and keeping it as accurate as possible to the P&L
• Periodic Divisional profit reviews highlighting performance vs target and Key business KPI’s
• Working closely with the accounts team to interrogate the Divisional P&L. This will include highlighting inconsistencies within processes and potential cost savings
• Supporting our Capex agenda with detailed, site-specific performance reviews to highlight opportunities to improve profitability
• Work closely with the reporting and planning team to ensure your databases are kept up to date
• Developing analysis within powerbi
• Ownership of the divisional bonus allocation process
• Supporting ops training by delivering our finance training to deputy managers via our accolade program

Senior BP Elements:

• Responsible for the coaching and development of our business partners through direct line management
• Supporting the Senior Finance Managers with strategic analysis and business partnering to Business Unit Directors and MD of Managed Pubs
• Organisation and workload planning for their direct report(s).
• Holding regular 1:1 meeting with direct report(s) to track progress on objectives, development plans and workload management.
• Ownerships of key FP&A projects

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar senior role as Finance Business Partner
• Fully qualified ACCA, CIMA etc
• The ability to get to the answer in a clear and concise manner
• An inquisitive mind, with good commercial acumen
• A problem-solving attitude with the desire to help others and find a solution that suits all parties
• Desire to ‘get the job done’, certain time periods may be busier than others
• IT literacy and strong Excel skills. Experience of Power Bi is useful
• Ability to co-ordinate meetings via video calls
• Knowledge of EPOS data or other Business Intelligence applications are advantageous
• Capable of communicating financial information to different audiences
• Must be able to work both as part of a team and independently
• Good organisation and time management skills are essential to this role. Prioritising to most important task is vital to success
• Strong listening skills with the ability to understand the task at hand quickly

You will have the ability to work in a clear and concise manner, be able to prioritise, have an inquisitive mind, with good commercial acumen, be a problem-solver, have excellent time management skills, IT literacy and strong Excel.
