Job Description

Java DeveloperExciting new permanent role for a Java Developer who has experience working within Restful APIsBased near Solihull, Dickens Heath, Blythe Valley business parks, West Midlands/ Warwickshire borders.Nationwide Recruitment Service is seeking a talented Java Developer with a background in API and ideally financial services industry to design, develop and implement solutions based on outline specifications provided by the Product Owner and ApplicationArchitects.You will previously therefore outlined on your CV where you have:

  • Worked within an Agile Scrum team, ensuring ceremonies are attended, and appropriate contributions made.
  • produced program code and specifications and supporting system integration testing including input into test planning.
  • Produced effective written communication to the standard required.
Additionally on your CV you will need to show where you have expertise in:
  • Active engagement at Agile Scrum ceremonies
  • Development of RESTful APIs and integrations with 3rd Party Systems
  • Worked with front end developers to create web apps
  • Developed code with automated unit and integration tests
  • Collaborated with analysts to refine requirements
Experience required:
  • Demonstrable and extensive Java experience
  • Extensive experience within an Agile Scrum environment
  • Strong Java, Spring, Hibernate, Maven
  • Knowledge of Git and SQL
  • Experience working in a flexible environment
  • Demonstrable experience within a software development environment delivering commercial applications
