Job Description

Optimise are working with a UK leading Civil Engineering and Building Contractor, operating across the UK. As a dynamic and innovative business, they recognise that success is driven by people. The successful candidate will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong working relationships at both employee and manageriallevels across all departments. This role involves working closely with departmental management teams to provide support and advice on various HR-related matters.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Assist in all aspects of the recruitment cycle, providing support during the interviewing process.
  • Support the effective onboarding of new starters by conducting company inductions.
  • Collaborate with the HR Business Partner to handle disciplinary and grievance actions, including attending disciplinary hearings.
  • Provide support and advice on HR-related issues at both managerial and employee levels.
  • Actively contribute to the development and implementation of new policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Assist in ensuring HR documentation aligns with current legislation.
  • Work closely with management to support and advise on HR-related issues, offering insights into employment law and company policies.
  • Promote and adhere to our workplace values.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of previous experience in an HR role.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Meticulous and methodical.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Demonstrate an extremely high level of confidentiality.
  • Team player.
  • Motivated hard worker.
  • Confidence in handling HR responsibilities.
