Reed in Partnership changes people’s lives for the better.Our mission is to deliver services that positively transform people and their communities.Learning to drive canhave a significant impact onanindividualslife,andReed in Partnershipis proud tosoon bepart of this journey.From September 2021we will beworking withtheDVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency)to deliverthedrivingtheory test inseverallocations across the UK.Ifyouarepassionate about providing world-class customer service and arelooking for a rolestarting in Augustthat offers flexible working hours,autonomy,andthe chance to meetand helppeople every day, we would love to hear from you.Weare inviting applicationsforDriving Test Centre Associateswithtraining in August andfullcommencementinSeptember 2021.If this role appeals toyou,please let us know byregistering yourexpressionof interest.We will be in touch with the journey from here andwill keep you informedevery step of the way.What the job is about:Meeting and greetingparticipantsand visitors to the test centre, you willbefacilitatingtheirexperience throughout the testing process.You willberesponsible forthe invigilation of tests and the efficient delivery of tests to candidates, ensuring that relevant procedures and guidelines arealways adhered to.Your mainresponsibilitieswouldbe:• Helping to manage attendance at the Test Centre, ensuring only authorised people have access.• Providing a high level of customer service to ensure that the candidates’ test centre experience is a welcoming, smooth and efficient service.• Ensuring that the integrity and security of tests are maintained and that they are supervised / invigilated to the required standard.• Ensuring that the test centre and its equipment is operational and test stations are in working order to deliver testing.• Explainingthe test process to candidates and dealingwith other queries asrequired.• Ensuring that the test centre meets individual candidate needs in line with the Equality Act and our approach to diversity & inclusion.• Periodically downloading and reviewing tests and test centre schedules.• Performingdaily test centre opening and closing procedures.• Handling and reporting incidents that could impact on candidate testing.What’sin it foryou:Theserolesoffer a flexible working pattern (either full-time, part-time or occasional shifts) withthe potential foradditionalhoursto suityou.Therolesofferlong term employment stabilityand the satisfaction ofassistingpeople at a key moment in their lives.Required skills andexperience:• Significant demonstrable experience inprovidinghigh-quality customer service.• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.• Ability to work under pressure to short timescales and multi-taskingto complete a variety of competing activities.• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.• Experience of working with diverse customer groups.• Flexible in workinghours and days, including evenings and Saturdays if possible.• Applicants must hold a full UK driving licence.Commitmentto Diversity & InclusionWe aim to ensure that no candidate or employee receives less favourable treatment on the grounds of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or belief, age, gender reassignment, marital or civil partnership status,pregnancy,or maternity.We offer a guaranteed interview scheme for BAME and disabled applicants who meet theminimumcriteria.
