Job Description

Once again working with my number one client, but this time on something a little different.Due to another amazing yearmy client, a Global market leading business, where technology and innovation are key, have asked me to find them a skilled Patching Engineer to join their ever-growing team at their UK Head Office in Derbyshire.The role is office based so you will need to either be in a commutable location or be happy to relocate.As the Patching Engineer you will be working alongside their wider InfoSec, Infrastructure and Development teams to ensure theymaintain secure, patched and vulnerability free systems. In this role you will be an integral part of the team who manage thesecurity patching and posture of their cloud, on premise and end user devices, as well as theirpatching infrastructure.Essential experience needed includes:

Solid commercial experience in patch management, which includes excellent understanding of both Windows security patching and vulnerability remediation.
Experience with Windows 7-11, Server 2008-2022, Linux and MacOS
Strong understanding of OS security
Good working knowledge of PowerShell

Desirable Skills include:

SCCM/Configuration Manager, Tanium and WSUS
3rd party application patching tools/plugins such as PatchMyPC, Ivanti/Shavlik Patch, ManageEngine Patch Connect Plus
