Job Description

New FORS Practitioner role paying £32k this static role is commutable from Shirebrook/ North Anston /Retford.The FORS Practitioner will:

  • Be pro-active in developing operational improvements, focusing on cost reductions and customer satisfaction, and ensure any changes are implemented positively within agreed time-scales
  • Promote and ensure compliance with transport policies, procedures and legislation (e.g. Tachograph, Towing)
  • Upholding the listed Operators O licence & Overseeing all O license undertaking for the group
  • Be involved with training on FTA (EU drivers hours and Working time hours)
  • Work with senior managers and all staff on matters pertaining to LGV’s, vans and non-tacho vehicles including commercial fleet
    • The FORS Practitioner will hold a key role within the organisation hence will hold ideally a management CPC qualification. Your role and standing will grow with you as you help improve and develop best practice writing papers on FORC/CLOCS as appropriateAs a fleet manager or FORS Practitioner you will have been involved at FORS bronze and silver level and have one of the below:
  • Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence
  • Completion of a FORS Professional Fleet Management Essentials course
  • FORS Approved Training Course
    • The FORS Practitioner will receive:
