Job Description

Our established client is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic account manager to add to its and expanding team in Saltaire. Your role is to maximise the sales of the company’s goods including stationery, printer consumables, furniture and labels as they distinguish themselves further within this diverse yet competitive market.Superb opportunity to work within an already and established growing business and within a great location.18 - 25K basic with 4 K bonus initially (DOE) - this will rise up to 18K bonus within 3 years. Further opportunity to increase this for a more experienced sales professional who can bring in larger contract opportunities and who can demonstrate evidence of this.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing relationships with existing customers via telephone calls and emails
  • Contacting potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
  • Gaining a clear understanding of customers requirements
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations, and providing customers with quotations
  • Strategically negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
  • Being aware of and gathering market and customer information
  • Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
  • Recording sales and order information and documenting information to your sales director
  • Hours: 8.45 - 5.15 with 1 hour lunch. Home working initially.21 days holidayAugust start at present and you will be office based. Required skills
