Job Description

We are actively seeking a talented Sales Estimator/HeatNetworks Estimator to become an integral part of our bustling team in Shipley.We are looking for a person who can bring estimating experience to our projects in the Heat Network Sector with the provision of our End-to-End service offering covering;

  • D&B – Design and Build
  • Retrofit – Heat network efficiency improvements
  • ESCo’s – Energy Services Company
  • CEM’s – Contract Energy Management
  • O&M – Operation and Maintenance
As the Sales Estimator/ Heat Networks Estimator, it is essential to thoroughly analyse and understand all project requirements and technical specifications. This involves developing accurate cost estimates, particularly emphasizing mechanical and electricalworks. Tasks include full take-off of services drawings, production of bills of quantities, and identification of additional O&M revenue opportunities. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive documentation for the supply chain, and collaboratingwith internal stakeholders to maintain databases and sustainable procurement processes. Support for the tender team involves identifying economically advantageous solutions, negotiating with the supply chain, and conducting site surveys. Deadlines are strictlyadhered to, and efforts are made to identify and mitigate potential risks. Collaboration with the operations team ensures pricing submissions meet Employers Requirements and adhere to industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements.Sales Estimator/Heat Networks Estimator Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and drawings accurately.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
  • Ensure that all project-related documents are properly completed and signed.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of the estimating process.
  • Implement processes to create efficient handling of the estimating process and incorporate all necessary touch points/ interfaces with the wider internal stakeholders – especially the tender team.
