Elevation Recruitment are delighted to be working closely with a leading name in the design and manufacture of high performance heat exchange units and cooling modules.Role: Process Quality EngineerSalary: £30,000 - £34,000Location: Shipley, BD17Hours: Monday to Thursday (08:30 - 17:00) and Friday (08:30 - 13:30)Duties & Responsibilities:- Liaise between internal departments, and external suppliers, to ensure the quality requirements of the customers for which you have responsibility are met- Ensure that all internal quality standards are adhered to in line with customer, internal and regulatory requirements- Provide technical quality support to all internal departments- Facilitate and manage customer & internal quality concerns and the implementation of robust corrective actions which will prevent re-occurrence- Provide information and statistics relating to quality which will support departments with their improvement plans for defect reduction and corrective action- Utilise SPC to reduce process variance and improve existing processes- Work closely with all other areas of the business to identify improvement actions to reduce scrap, rework and internal / external concerns- Attend regular meetings to review scrap, rework and leak performance and agree improvement actions as part of the cross functional team.- With the QC team ensure that all operations processes are working in line with the PCP & associated work instructions- Conduct regular audits in production areas to ensure compliance to internal quality standards- Contribute and play an active role in the management of key performance indicators relating to operations- Active participation with established risk reduction teams to understand, manage and reduce risk using established tools such as PFMEA, 14 point checking & QA Net- Participate and play a key role in the sign off and handover of new projects to operations in a structured methodical way to ensure stability in productionFor more information, please contact Jemma Aylesbury on or a
