Job Description

Elevation Recruitment are supporting the recruitment of a Weekend Electrical or Mechanical Bias Maintenance Technician to join our clients automotive manufacturing factory in Yorkshire.The Weekend Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. This role will involve the implementation of continuous improvement activities, project management and reactive maintenance work.The Weekend Maintenance Technician duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:*Respond appropriately to unexpected and/or continuing situations and ensure prompt attention and resolution*Schedule machine time in order to perform modifications, repairs or planned maintenance *Follow up orders and ensure spare parts are fitted to the appropriate machine on delivery*Analyse history on equipment, assess breakdowns, prioritise and take appropriate corrective action*Provide technical assistance to ensure shortest possible machine downtime, recording and creating manuals & drawings to help early machine recovery*Process, review, and expedite work orders, modification and equipment drawings, schematics, check sheets, job instructions, and calibrations recordsWe are keen to speak with Electrical or Mechanical Bias Maintenance Technicians that possess the following skills and experiences:-Minimum ONC or City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent (Technical Certificate, etc.)-Recognised engineering apprenticeship, together with at least 2 years experience in a maintenance department of a manufacturing company-Time served apprenticeship -PLC experience Faultfinding - Allen Bradley/Mitsubishi and knowledge of systems would be desirable-Familiar with the use of machine tools-AC, DC & Servo Drive Experience-Knowledge of maintenance policies, procedures, and terms-Strong communication skills, good organisational and time management skills-Respond effectively and perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly-Knowledge of appropriate office software applicationsHours of Work - Saturday and Sunday 6pm - 6amElevation Engineering and Manufacturing are keen to speak to Electrical or Mechanical Bias Maintenance Technicians that would like to work a permanent weekend shift at a thriving and growing manufacturing plant in West Yorkshire.If you match the specified criteria and are interested in discussing the position in more detail, we would love to hear from you.
