Job Description

Machine Development EngineerLocation: Keighley, Shipley, Bradford and Leeds Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOEHours: Mon-Thurs 8.30am-5pm / Fri 8.30am-1.30pmGrafton Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a market leading, global company who specialise in the full manufacturing process of bespoke systems and components. Our client is proud to be at the forefront of innovation and sustainability andlooking to recruit like-minded individuals focused on career development.Due to continued growth, this company are looking to strengthen and expand its multi-discipline production engineering department and as such are now looking to add an experienced Machine Development Engineer to their established workforce.The Role:

  • Responsible for the design, development and implementation of bespoke machinery and equipment for the manufacturing facility
  • Involvement with the machine modifications to ensure cost-reduction and adherence to customer specific requirements
  • Working closely with subcontractors throughout commissioning process
  • Close interaction with external suppliers & partners for a range of projects
  • Create feasibility documents and ensure through communication with all stakeholders throughout project process
You will need:
  • Ability to travel throughout UK and overseas
  • Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering Degree
  • Proven experience working: DFMA/FMEA/Six Sigma/Process Control Methods
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across all department levels
  • Previous experience in a Project Management role
  • Preferred experience with CAD systems or Solid Works to review and annotate designs
