Job Description

If you have a strong understanding ofthe Key Stage 2 curriculum, a knack for engaging young learners, and a commitment to fostering their academic and personal growth, we encourage you to apply for this exciting position.Job Title: Key Stage 2 TeacherStart Date: Sept 2023-Feb 2024Contract: 2-3 days per week (Wednesday to Friday)Location: Bradford BD2Pay scale: £130-160Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver dynamic and interactive lessons that align with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, utilizing a range of teaching strategies and resources to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, providing guidance, support, and motivation to help them reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
  • Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to guide their learning journey.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives, promoting a holistic educational experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress, addressing concerns, and fostering a strong home-school partnership.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a solid understanding of the curriculum and assessment practices.
  • Passion for education and a student-centered approach, ensuring that each students unique needs are met.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to inspire and engage young learners.
  • Strong classroom management skills, creating a positive and inclusive environment that promotes a sense of belonging and mutual respect.
  • Collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to the schools professional learning community and share best practices.
  • Dedication to continuous professional development and staying abreast of current educational trends and pedagogies.
