Job Description

The Information Governance and Records Management team requires an enthusiastic Information Governance & Records Assistant.This is a small specialist team, providing highly customer focused support to all areas of the Trust and external customers such as patients and service users (and or their family members), courts, solicitors, police, the public and other government bodies.Information Governance is a framework that enables the Trust to handle personal and corporate information and other information that is sensitive or valuable in a confidential and secure manner to appropriate ethical and quality standards.You may be working between New Mill in Saltaire, our records archive at Cemetery Road or from home. You will be part of a specialist team delivering services to the whole of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.Supervised and supported by an Information Governance and Records Management Co-ordinator the post holder will get involved in most aspects of the service.Some of these duties will include:

  • Working as part of a team
  • Delivering excellent levels of customer service to all patients/visitors and staff at the Trust
  • promoting and demonstrating effective verbal and non-verbal communication at all times with patients, relatives and colleagues recognising the need for tact, consideration and confidentiality.
