Our client is experiencing a rapid increase in workload and they are looking for a number of Aligners for their site in Shipley. These are initially 12 month, fixed term contracts and you will be employed by the client directly.18.5K - 20K plus shift allowance of 15%Starting salary is based on experience and there will be tested as part of the interview process on this. Previous electronic assembly experience is desirable.The role will consist of RF component and module-level alignment, utilising standard laboratory equipment within the production environment, following procedures and specifications in accordance with the appropriate guidelines.Flexibility will be required as there is a possibility that a shifts system will be introduced.Main responsibilities for this role will be:• Perform production and R&D alignment of RF and microwave components, such as multiplexers, RF Filters and passive components• Capable of tuning high-frequency RF circuits using small hand tools and equipment• Experienced with components (capacitors, coils, substrates) and attachment media (solders and epoxies)• Familiar with the use of common laboratory equipment including Vector Network Analysers, Spectrum Analysers and oscilloscopes• Able to read and interpret work instructions, schematics and process procedures to determine sequence of operations and proper alignment techniques• Ability to test, troubleshoot and rework is desirableKey Attributes:• Previous Filter tuning experience• Good hand to eye co-ordination• Ability to follow written, pictorial and verbal working instructions• Patience and an eye for detail• Ability to consistently produce high quality work• Must be adaptable and have the ability to multi-skill• To be able to work from own initiative but also work well within a team.
