Job Description

Role: Customer Enquiries AdvisorLocation: Shipley - Office BasedHours: 36.5 hours per week on a flexi time systemSalary: £17,000 per annum Start date: ASAPBenefits: Flexi time, Free parking, 28 days holiday, Xmas shut down, pension schemeOur Shipley based client is looking to recruit an experienced Customer Service Advisor to join their busy team. Your primary responsibilities will be providing customer service and sales administration.This is a full-time permanent role offering a salary of £17,000 with excellent opportunities for progression and development.Duties:

  • Co-ordinating customer and supplier liaison (both verbal and written) regarding new sales enquiries to
  • Creating nonstandard products and quotations to meet customer requirements
  • Prioritising workload in terms of commercial potential to reduce overall response times
  • Responsible for applying sales margins to all nonstandard items, and to determine appropriate levels of discount on standard items
  • Entering new product requirements/ specifications on to the system
  • Creating detailed quotations for new and existing customers
  • Liaising with relevant sales personnel regarding quotation follow-ups to be expedited
  • Reporting factual and accurate information on quotations
  • Managing customer accounts and keeping them informed of delivery schedules and lead times
  • Updating customer records on the database and managing all paperwork associated with the customers account
  • Requesting prices from suppliers for any necessary materials
  • Any ad hoc duty as required
  • Experience required:
  • Excellent customer service and account management experience is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Excellent data entry skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
