Job Description

Continuous Improvement Engineer Salary: £31,000 - £33,000 DOELocation: Keighley, Shipley, Bradford and Leeds Hours: Mon-Thurs 8.30am-5pm / Fri 8.30am-1.30pmGrafton Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a market leading, global company who specialise in the full manufacturing process of bespoke systems and components. Our client is proud to be at the forefront of innovation and sustainability andlooking to recruit like-minded individuals focused on career development.Due to continued growth, this company are looking to strengthen and as such are now looking to add an experienced Continuous Improvement Engineer to their established workforce.The Role:

  • Champion lean manufacturing and methodologies
  • Lead manufacturing and logistical improvements
  • Evaluate, analyse and identify ways to action improvements to production and processes
  • Create and distribute information on the most competent way of performing tasks
  • Overseeing production floor layout
You will need:
  • Experience working in FMCG or Automotive Manufacturing Engineering environment
  • Proven experience working: DFMA/FMEA/Process Control Methods
  • Working with material flows, Kanban and pull systems
  • Cell layout, manufacturing processes and work station design
  • Engineering degree within mechanical, automotive, industrial or manufacturing
  • The ability to mentor and develop teams
