Job Description

BI DeveloperLocation: Shipley, West YorkshireSalary: CompetitiveAbout the Company:Our client is primarily a Microsoft stack business, that focuses on utilising enterprise functionalityBI Developer Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the creative process
  • Delivering solutions to meet business requirements and to agreed timeline
  • Business intelligence systems and data
  • Architecture & Design
  • Implementation
  • Analytics & Visualisation
  • Quality assurance
  • Maintenance & Support
  • Defining and enforcing standards and methodologies for the BI systems
  • BI systems and data for:
  • Back-office
  • Product / Client offering
    • Bi Developer Requirements:
  • At least of 4 years’ business intelligence experience within a commercial environment, ideally be in line with Microsoft technologies.
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Good numeracy
  • Desire to maintain high standards of working and output
  • Strong communication skills, capable of working as part of a project team, and with all other levels of the organisation
  • Strong knowledge is required to provide and support a complete BI solution, knowledge of enterprise and latest technologies (Beneficial)
  • A-level qualifications or higher, degree or equivalent commercial experience
  • Professional qualifications for Microsoft BI & SQL Server or equivalent commercial experience.
    • Data Warehousing / Data Marts
  • Table design for OLAP
  • ETL processing with data cleansing & verification
  • Point in time data management
  • SSIS
    • Analytics
  • SSAS / Cube design
  • Data mining algorithms
