Job Description

I am delighted to assist a reputable Sheffield-based firm of accountants in their search for two talented Semi Senior accountants. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with qualified accountants, servicing a diverse portfolio of clientsspanning various industries. As you continue your studies, whether pursuing AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualifications, the ultimate aim is for you to become a qualified accountant in your own right, managing your own portfolio of clients. You can expect regular payincreases aligned with your progress in exams, recognizing your dedication and achievements.Our client is a training practice that highly values your professional development. As such, you will receive comprehensive study support throughout your exams, including financial aid and study leave. In certain cases where you have costs to repay to youremployer, provisions may be made to accommodate this.Key Responsibilities:

Preparing accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and other relevant documents for review.
Visiting client premises to provide assistance or complete necessary work, establishing strong relationships with clients.
Managing incoming books and records, conducting thorough reviews to ensure all essential information is obtained, and liaising with clients to obtain any missing details.
Addressing day-to-day client queries promptly and effectively.
