Job Description

We’re excited to be working alongside an outstanding educational organisation in their search for a HR Manager to join their progressive and established HR team.This is a field-based role, supporting multiple sites in the Bedfordshire area, on a full time, permanent basis.The role offers a mix of operational and strategic HR, where you will business partner with each of the schools in your area, offering a pro-active HR service. With your 2 direct reports, you will work to forge relationships with the Principals of each of theschools, building confidence and trust to work together.Competitive salary with amazing benefits package on offer.Main duties will include:

  • Providing a business partnering service to the schools within the Bedfordshire area
  • Supporting, coaching and advising line managers/school principals
  • Implementing policies and procedures
  • Line management of Senior HR Advisor and HR Advisor
  • Assisting with HR department recruitment
The successful candidate:
  • May already have experience in the education sector or local government, but must feel comfortable in a highly regulated environment
  • Demonstrates the ability to build relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • CIPD level 5 or above
  • Experience of Trade Unions desirable but not essential
  • Leadership/coaching skills to support a Senior HR Advisor and HR Advisor
  • IT literate
  • Willingness to travel to multiple sites
