Our client is seeking an experienced temporary Administrator to supportin a purchasing and general administrative role to the Finance/Admin team. Youwill need to have a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure that clear and accurate administrativerecords are maintained so that company processes and procedures can work effectively. Youwill be required to interact with people across and outside the company to place orders for laboratory supplies.Location: Sharnbrook, BedsHourly pay rate between £12.00 and £12.82 dependent upon experience - immediate startWorking hours Monday to Friday 09.00am until 5.30pm. Office Based - Free on-site parking and on-site restaurant.Description Finance/Admin Duties • Maintaining and updating spreadsheet records • Receipting of goods and accurately updating record logs accordingly. • Logging receipt of invoices • Scanning documents and electronically filing as appropriate• Handling general emails and postal correspondence from customers and suppliers • Accurately file and archiving paper documents.Operational Duties • Purchasing items required for the laboratory team, as requested • Liaising directly with suppliers • Scanning documentation and electronically filing as appropriate • Accurately check goods received and update recordlogs accordingly • Shipping samples to third parties when needed with support from the office manager.This list is not exhaustive but is indicative of the duties of the role.Skills and Experience: • Previous experience in Administration in a customer focused role is essential • Must be accurate and reliable with excellent attention to detail • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong PC skills • Strong communicationskills; written and verbal • Professional telephone manner • Ability to work without direct supervision • Confident with managing various systems• Positive, accountable and self-motivated attitude • A familiarity with scientific terminology is desirable.if you feel you have the skills and experience, then please apply online or contact Wendy on immediately.
