Job Description

Internal RecruiterDo you have previous Recruiter experience Are you wanting to join a growing and successful team who are passionate about their staff and development Then please apply below.This is what youll be doingThis is an excellent opportunity for an Internal Recruiter to join an established quarrying and construction company based in Caldicot. You will work closely with the management team to recruit for operators, engineers and site managers, and handle the processfrom end to end. You will also:

Proactively source candidates using a variety of innovative resources and opportunities
Regularly update all databases and websites with new vacancies and information
Organise and support all interviews, feedback, offers and onboarding processes
Maintain a candidate tracker ensuring it is accurate and up to date at all times
Complete follow ups and check ins with all new staff
Ensure all paperwork and systems are kept up to date, whilst maintaining GDPR processes and confidentiality
Research and present new and suitable avenues for recruitment, initiatives and recruitment methods
Work to develop and implement strategies to improve retention of staff, candidate experience and recruitment strategy

The experience youll bring to the teamAs a driven and experienced Internal Recruiter, youll need to have:

Knowledge and experience of recruiting within Construction or Quarrying environment
Excellent communication skills with people at all levels
Fantastic organisation and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure and prioritise own workload
Excellent IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
Confidence to work alone and manage tasks effectively
