Job Description

Acorn Recruitment are delighted to be working with an expanding dynamic business who are recruiting for an organised and enthusiastic Administrator.The company specialises in construction services, and have several departments which offer excellent progression opportunities. This administration role is within the Estimating Department, which is the team that help to price up prospective work and projects.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that has a real thirst for knowledge and would like to learn.Applicants should be able to demonstrate:* Good communication skills* Able to work with people from different departments and levels within the business* Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and AdobeSuccessful applicants will need to:* Liaise with sales team to ensure a correct understanding of the project requirements and the customers needs* Gain an understanding of individual projects, their backgrounds, and the project overall* Create estimates and ensure all works are dealt with promptly and accurately* Creating and updating the database in a timely manner* Utilise tools to streamline work content* Generate estimates and projects based on scopes of works* Ensure estimating procedures and protocols are followed* Review daily & weekly reports * Support other members of the teamPlease note: Applications are also welcome from potential trainees who would like to learn how to be an estimator.Weekly hours: 37.5, Monday to FridaySalary: £18,750-£22,000 depending on experienceAcorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
