Flourish Education are currently working with a larger than average mainstream Primary School near Selly Oak that are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join their support staff team from September. The school are looking for a TA to provide 1:1 support to a child in Year 1 with SEND. The child will respond well to someone who is nurturing and has strong communication skills. Responsibilities will include encouraging the child to access the learning environment,facilitate the childs learning, and deliver specific targeted interventions. This Teaching Assistant role is to start September and is expected to continue for the full academic year. To apply to this Teaching Assistant role, you will need the following: . Relevant Level 2 qualification or above . Experience working in a EYFS or KS1 setting . Experience of learning through play . To have supported children with SEND previously . To be enthusiastic about working with children Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant: . Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCO . General classroom support if needed . Provide 1:1 support .
