Fircroft is a residential college occupying a former Cadbury family home, set in six acres of beautiful grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham. This role will require you to provide a responsive and customer-focused service for all student enquiries and applications. The main responsibilities of this role, along with covering reception, willbe to deal with enquiries, and to provide initial information, advice and guidance for potential and current students; ensuring that the students are placed on to appropriate courses. You will need to make sure that the College’s Admissions processes and proceduresare followed and that the correct paperwork is in place to meet funding requirements.To be considered for this role you must be able to deal with a range of people from different backgrounds and with different requirements both face-to-face and via telephone. Some customer service experience would be desirable. You must have strong communicationskills, and excellent organisation and coordination abilities. It is essential that you are empathetic, solution-focused and able to deal with difficult situations.
