We were originally founded to provide educational opportunities for some of the most disadvantaged and excluded members of society. One hundred years on from the birth of Fircroft College, its mission of ‘social justice’ is more relevant than ever. Fircroft is a thriving and ambitious College, our values are embedded throughout the organisation and we are consistently nominated for sector and professional awards as an employer.We are now looking to appoint an HR Manager to oversee and manage all employee related activity within the college. The key purpose of the role is to implement the organisational people strategy, ensuring an engaged, productive and supported workforce.Key areas of focus will include wellbeing, engagement, performance management, recruitment, equality, diversity and inclusion and talent management. Therefore, a HR generalist background, at a senior level, is essential.To be considered for this role you must have experience of leading a HR generalist function and be qualified to a minimum of CIPD Level 5, with the willingness to study level 7, if you do not already have this qualification. A background in education would be desirable but other similar, values led backgrounds will be considered.
