Are you a natural leader with experience managing teams and providing excellent customer service If so, please read on.Reed Further Education are working with a college in the Selly Oak area who are looking for a full-time admissions team leader.The role is full-time 37 hours a week, starting from early January and the duration of the role is likely to be 2/3 months.The ideal candidate will have education/admissions experience in a fast paced environment. The candidate will also have strong team management skills, knowledge of information, advice and guidance in an education setting and excellent customer service skills.Job Title: Admissions Coordinator Team LeaderDuration: Temporary, 37 hours a week, Monday to FridaySalary: £15 - £20 per hour including holiday payLocation: Selly Oak, BirminghamIn the role you would be required to:- Co-ordinate the work of Admissions and Reception, line managing the team of 4.- Provide Careers information Advice and Guidance to students and potential students.- Ensure the whole learner journey is informed by learners’ needs and goals from initial enquiry through to progression and regularly reviewed.- As a member of the wider Safeguarding team be an initial point of contact and advice for staff and students with concerns.- Work flexibly when required by the college to ensure weekend and evening courses are well supported.- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on referrals, marketing, management information systems and student systems.The essential requirements for the role are:- Ability to line manage and lead a team.- Experience of dealing with a range of people with different requirements in a customer facing role.- IAG qualification at level 3.- Experience of co-ordinating a student admissions processThe desirable requirements for the role are:- Leadership or management qualification.- Enhanced DBS on the update service or a clear DBS issued within the last year.Benefits of working for Reed Further Education/our client:
