The Occupational Therapist will provide holistic assessment to clients with a disability or their carers, using a therapeutic approach to restore daily living skills and maximise levels of function andindependence within this client group. The provision of advice, adaptation or equipment, as appropriate to meet the needs of that client or carer. Adhere to the Performance Management framework within the Directorate. Sirona Medical will be providing the OccupationalTherapist to Sefton Council.You will be representingSirona Medical and the Local Authority.The role is one Community Occupational Therapist Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17.30 pm 36 hours per week.As a Community Occupational Therapist, you must have a degree in Occupational Therapy with a minimum 6 months solid experience in an NHS Establishment. You will be required to accept responsibility, with support and direction to effectively manage a client caseload with associated specialist support needs.To ensure that appropriate and up-to-date client records/files and computer information system is maintained and kept with due regard to confidentiality.To act in accordance with HCPC registration requirements and Code of Conduct for exercising accountability and professional practice. To provide holistic assessment to clients with a disability or their carers, using a therapeutic approach to restore daily living skills and maximise levels of function and independence within this client group. The provision of advice, adaptation or equipment,as appropriate to meet the needs of that client or carer. Adhere to the Performance Management framework within the Directorate.
