History Graduate Teaching Assistant
Full time, long-term role starting ASAP running until July 2024 initially
Earn up to £460 per week as a History Graduate Teaching Assistant
Secondary school located in Sefton – 15 minutes from Liverpool city centre
Minimum 2:1 History related degree required
Full and ongoing training from day 1
Help students preparing for exams with small focus groups
Perfect experience before PGCE & School Direct applications from September 2024
Trial Days and interviews currently being arranged

The successful candidate will be mainly working and supporting students ranging from key stage 3 to key stage 5 classes in small groups supporting History and Humanities subjects. The History Teaching Assistant role itself will have you supporting Teachersover a variety of topics in History, helping students gain a better understanding of learning objectives within your specialist area.During your time at the school, you will find yourself work within the classroom and in smaller groups, aiding students who may need additional support in certain areas, as well as encouraging high flying students to reach their full potential. With studentspreparing for 2024 exam periods, it is an essential part of the academic year for them and you will play a crucial role in helpinf them succeed.It would be beneficial if you have gained a 2:1 or higher in your degree to demonstrate that you have a top conceptual understanding of the topics you will be helping students with.
