Seven Social Care are currently recruiting for several Early Help Workers to join the Early Help Services in Sefton.You will be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, Young people (0 - 19), their families and adults by delivering high quality interventions, acting as their single point of contact, coordinating a holistic, temporary offer ofsupport focusing on outcomes.This is an interim post initially for 3 - 6 months, with the view of extending.The role: Effectively manage and progress a caseload to achieve positive outcomes based on a solution focussed approach.Assess and identify levels of risk, vulnerability and safeguarding using prescribed assessment tools, operating within agreed models and in line with agreed frameworks and protection plans ensuring that the individuals or families voice is captured throughoutthe whole assessment and intervention process.Deliver targeted activity working either on a 1-1 basis or in groups using a holistic approach to address the root causes in line with departmental frameworks.Deliver protective, supportive and needs led plans and review in line with case management standards.Maintain accurate records of all assessments, plans, actions, reviews, court reports, decisions, learning portfolios and outcomes using the Councils systems.Applicant Requirements: Experience: Experience of delivering support to individuals and families in one or more of the service areas within the localities modelQualifications: Qualification equivalent (Level 3) related to job role e.g Childhood studies, Early Years, Health & Social Care, Youth WorkCompliance: Right to Work in the UK, Enhanced DBSHours: 36 hours a week, Monday to FridayTravel: Full UK driving license and access to own carWorking with Seven Social Care: Established in 2011, Seven Social Care is a leading provider of social care professionals to county councils, charities, hospitals, care homes and private organisations across the UK.Seven is the recruitment service that guarantees experienced, qualified, and available staff exactly when you need them.
