Low Secure Services have an exciting development opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse.The service provides a therapeutic inpatient environment to service users with mental health problems within a low secure setting. Service users may have a forensic background and are detained under the Mental Health Act. Low secure services focus on delivering the highest quality nursing care to complex individuals. Our aim is to plan for the most appropriate discharge pathway tailored to each individual’s needs. You will recognise the importance of leading by example, be well organised and manage your time effectively. An ambassador for the service, striving to achieve the best outcomes for service users and enjoy working collaboratively.The successful applicant will be joining a multi-disciplinary team in providing a high standard of care to service users and working closely with carers. You will demonstrate flexibility in working overseeing an allocated case load of service users. You should have a positive and caring attitude towards service users and must be keen to contribute to service development.The successful applicant will gain knowledge and experience of working with Criminal Justice system, MAPPA, Substance misuse and risk assessments i.e. HCR 20, RSVP and will receive a full induction to the service.For further details / informal visits contact:Name Emma Brookshaw Telephone number
