Job Description

Job Title: Business Development ManagerLocation: Leeds, LS14 1ABSalary: £25,000 - £30,000 Dependent upon ExperienceWorking Hours: 40 hours, Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00Grafton Recruitment are working with a market-leading company who offer a total workforce/staffing solution to HGV and Van drivers. They provide businesses with a user friendly platform where they can post shifts to an online portal. It matches and alerts drivers to the available shifts around them via a free to use app on their phone. The drivers can search, review and apply for the work that suits them.We are looking for an experienced, sales orientated Business Development Manager from a recruitment background to promote, demonstrate and sell their online platform to businesses that have a sizeable fleet of HGV and/or Van Drivers throughout the UK.Benefits

  • The Role
  • Researching and approaching prospective businesses via cold-calling, networking and marketing drops
  • Arranging and attending new business meetings, albeit virtually
  • Full account management and development of new clients
  • Presenting demos of the portal whilst providing guidance and instructions of use
  • Building and maintaining a portfolio of prospective clients
  • Identifying, qualifying and following up new business opportunities
  • Keeping the CRM System (HubSpot) and the platform updated to a high standard
  • Assisting with client management when needed
  • The Person
  • Driving licence and own vehicle
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in new sales/business development and from a 360° driving or industrial recruitment role
  • The confidence and ability to negotiate and agree and finalise terms of business
  • A proven record of new sales and business development
  • Self-motivated with the drive to manage your own diary
  • Eager to learn and progress
  • A consultative approach to sales with excellent listening and problem solving skills
  • Customer focused with a natural ability to develop relationships
  • IT savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly
