Job Description

1:1 Teaching Assistant, ScunthorpeAn opportunity has arisen for a one to one Teaching Assistant to join a popular and reputable Primary Schoolin Scunthorpe, based in oneclass on a full-time basis, supporting a childwith some additional needs. The successful applicant will support thewhole class andwill work alongside an experienced teacher and will be expected to assist the class teacher and children as necessary to help drive positive engagement and progress across the class.Responsibilities:

Supporting anindividual child to access the curriculum and social activities around school
Working collaboratively alongside the class teacher to help monitor understanding and plan next steps
Helping to prepare the classroom environment and activities ready for the day and the lessons
Following the schools policy for behaviour and maintaining high standards
Depending on experience, you may be expected to cover the class if the teacher is absent

Requirements:

Experience of working in a school setting in the last 5 years (essential)
Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification (desirable)
Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills

Hours: Full time, 5 days per week
Salary: £70-£80per day dependingon experience
