We continue to innovate and grow and are always looking to maximise the value we achieve on every vehicle we sell and due to this success, we are looking to expand our Vehicle Remarketing Team.Copart UK Limited is a critical outsource partner to all of the UK motor insurance companies, providing essential services that relate to the UK transport infrastructure by collecting, transporting and storing accident damaged vehicles. Copart is also intrinsic to the waste management, recycling and disposal of end-of-life vehicles which has been deemed critical and therefore are able to remain fully operational whilst ensuring social distancing measures are met, during the current COVID-19 pandemic.As a Vehicle Remarketing Specialist, you will perform a vital role in reviewing all vehicles to make sure they are auctioned in their best possible light and also manage our patented VB3 auction platform to ensure that we achieve the maximum value for our vehicles.You will be responsible for ensuring the images and information used on our auction site to sell vehicles meet our high standards to ensure that Copart continues to offer our members an unmatched auction experience.This role is perfect for a passionate and driven individual who can bring vehicle knowledge and experience to our high performing team.What you will do…

  • Assess and review vehicles ensuring specification, images, description and ABI Categorisation is correct.
  • Liaise with Coparts UK external customers and their representatives to negotiate and agree ABI categories, vehicle values and offer commercial support.
  • Identify and maximising asset value.
  • Efficiently deal with both incoming and outgoing queries to ensure a high level of productivity.
  • Promote good teamwork and great team performance by supporting team members when required.
  • Sharing new ideas to improve our service.
  • Vehicle valuations are carried out in a virtual environment and therefore the role requires computer literacy and a keen eye for detail.
  • Work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet the Coparts service level agreements.

  • Technical knowledge of vehicles and repair methods gained in an Insurance Engineering, Vehicle body shop, vehicle sales or vehicle remarketing environment.
  • An understanding of cost management.
  • Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Knowledge of ABI Code of Practice.
  • Examples of self-driven continuous learning.
  • Previous experience in a salvage environment.
  • Analytical experience with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
