Henderson Brown is exclusively supporting a key fmcg client with recruiting for an Engineering Supervisor based in Bedfordshire. The Engineering Supervisor will lead on engineering and process requirements with a focus on resource planning, budget control,engineering projects, production planning and facilities management. The ideal candidate will be passionate, engaging with a desire to make improvements. Key Responsibilities:*Develop preventative and reactive plant and equipment maintenance programmes.*Provide technical advice on engineering issues spanning facilities, machinery and process development and closely liaise with Production to minimise risk.*Prepare and submit annual department operating budget and forecasts.*Formulate new product and process engineering strategies.*Identify strategies of factory improvement*Implement capital expenditure projects to agreed budget, quality, and timescales.*Manage external contractors on key capital projects.*Manage new installation projects and the commissioning of new plant machinery and renovation works.*Ensure health and safety obligations and safe systems of work are adhered to.Experience Required:*Previous engineering supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment *Project management skills*Electrical qualifications are essential- e.g. NVQ Level 3 in electrical, IOSH, 18th edition etc *Knowledgeable and interested in continuous improvement. *Passion and desire to develop professionally.Benefits:*Monday to Friday working week.*Competitive salary of £42,000-£50,000 per annum + 10% annual bonus (discretionary)*25 days annual leave + bank holidays *Life assurance scheme *Enhanced matched pension contribution.*Staff perks and discounts.*Excellent opportunity with a global business
