Job Description

Our client is a global business with an established presence in the UK.They are now recruiting for a newly created position to join their core finance team in a role focused on developing the internal control framework of the business from a finance perspective.Reporting to the Financial Controller, this will be a visible role and duties will include

  • Providing valued support in the design, implementation, documentation and assessment and monitoring of internal controls framework.
  • Reviewing controls in place, partnering with stakeholders, reviewing existing controls, suggesting improvements and actions required to add value.
  • Looking at ways to standardise and automate processes where possible
  • Timely reporting on internal control framework, documenting and working closely with SLT and audit committee
  • Planning and delivering on these plans whilst continuously monitoring progress
The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience working in internal controls / internal audit position and will be someone who enjoys getting to the nub of an issue and suggesting improvements as appropriate.Excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and being able to produce reports in a clear and concise manner are also essential attributes to the success of this role.Ideally part qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA, study support will be provided alongside a competitive benefits package and the opportunity to grow and progress in a business that continues to flourish.This role will be hybrid, working in Sandy one or two days a week with the rest of the work being done from home.
