Job Description

Production Operator required for our client in the Sandwich area.This is an exciting full-time permanent position, 37.5 hours per week over a seven day shift pattern, covering weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Salary to £28,447 with an hours lunch. Benefits to include:

You will be based within a production laboratory and will be responsible for the daily coordination of manufacturing. This will include the set-up, operation, control, monitoring and cleaning of a variety of process equipment, to produce the finished goodsin regard to the manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients.The main responsibilities of the role will be:
  • Accurately and methodically following instructions to manufacture high quality finished goods
  • Maintaining GMP standards (Good manufacturing practice)
  • Accurate completion of production documentation in accordance with right first time standards
  • Taking deliveries
  • Maintaining stock levels
  • Completing planned and necessary maintenance, troubleshooting and production engineering duties.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
  • Previous experience in manufacturing/production
  • Experience of working in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Knowledge and experience of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) or ISO9001
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
  • A self-starter and team player with a flexible approach to work
