Job Description

1. Job Purpose:To work within the central Marketing team with a focus on Marketing communications and campaigns - physical and digital event management, campaign management, email marketing, literature and print and PR and copy writing.Providing support to the Marketing / BD team and others internally to develop and deliver marketing activities aligned to the firms and the Marketing / BD strategy and plan. To supervise the Marketing Assistant with producing marketing collateral.2. Scope, Reach & Key Relationships

  • Works in close collaboration as part of a small multi-location Marketing, BD, digital marketing teams.
  • Works closely with the Marketing Assistant, supporting them in their role and helping them to develop.
  • Working with Partners and others internally - email newsletters, website and editorial content.
  • PR agency to coordinate editorial schedule and content.
  • Third party organisations - sponsorships and publications.
  • External clients in relation to marketing activities.
3. Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities:Events / webinars
  • Responsible for planning, organisation, coordination, communications and implementation of specific events and webinars.
  • Liaise with external suppliers (catering / venues / speakers etc).
  • Liaise with speakers and manage internal communications.
  • Copywriting and creating all event communications and collateral including invitations, emails, adverts and website content.
  • Supervise Marketing Assistant with event administration - confirmation emails, follow up emails.
Email marketing
  • Develop and implement email marketing campaigns in line with the marketing and BD strategy and brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate planning meetings with editorial teams.
  • Research topical and relevant content ideas.
  • Review and proofread content.
  • Formatting of email newsletters and responsible for templates.
  • Analysis of email marketing.
  • Responsible for the firms core email marketing platform, the Pathfinder series.
PR and communications
  • Prepare press releases alongside the firms PR agency.
  • Copywrite and proofread releases and news story for the website.
  • Coordinate the firms editorial calendar, schedule potential topics and authors and ensure the calendar runs on time and to deadlines.
Adverts and sponsorships
  • Work closely with Marketing Assistant and design agency when required to coordinate, design and create adverts.
  • Organisation of specific sponsorships.
Literature and publications
  • Working closely with Marketing Assistant, design agency and full marketing team to prepare copy and design.
General
  • Copywriting for marketing collateral and proof reading.
  • Creation of mailing lists and reviewing marketing data.
  • Analysis and reporting on marketing activities.
  • Keeping up to date with current marketing trends.
  • Reviewing and suggesting improvements to marketing platforms and materials.
  • A brand champion to ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Market / competitor research as and when required.
