Formulation Scientist Salary - £25K - £35 D.O.ESandwich, UKAn exciting opportunity for a Formulation Scientist, this position will involve the design and analysis of parenteral dosage forms at all stages of development.You will be joining a leading pharmaceutical company in Sandwich, Kent, UK.Responsibilities: * To design and undertake high quality scientific experimentation to further the formulation and process development of parenteral dosage forms for novel drug candidates.* To contribute to the definition of processes for sterile manufacture of clinical supplies and/or commercial drug product.* To provide technical support to multidisciplinary teams in order to facilitate and influence the development of quality sterile drug products with particular focus on analysis, characterisation of liquid dosage forms, nanoparticles etc. and resolution of associated technical challenges.* Perfom hands-on laboratory experiments, such as aseptic solution compounding, lyophilization and analytical techniques such as HPLC.* To assess the chemical and physical stability of formulations * To communicate effectively and present data* To maintain high quality documentation Requirements:* Must have Pharmaceutical and drug design experience or be a PhD Scientist, with academic research experience related to formulation and design**Practical Experience - Highly desirable** Analysis and characterisation of liquid dosage forms, resolution of associated technical challenges, a good understanding of fate of active pharmaceutical ingredient in drug product and a good understanding of soft matter structures (e.g. liquid crystals).If you would like to apply for this role please use the link provided below.
