All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced DBS check (full assistance provided).We are looking to recruit a Teacher of History, to be placed at a good school within the Sandwell area. You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 in History.Duties will include:Creating lesson plans that are appropriate for each age group, to prepare, deliver and review lessons and other activities to ensure the effective progress of assigned students in the agreed specificationsDevelop resources, materials and schemes of work which meet the needs of individual studentsPreparation and planning lessonsMarking and schemes of workManaging classroom disciplineQualifications Required:The successful candidate will possess a Teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)Experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learningThe ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners attainment.Start/closing dates: May 2024 until the end of the academic year.Type of employment: Full-time
