Deputy Executive OfficerJob title: Deputy Executive OfficerSalary: £30150 - £33380Job purpose: to assist with the duties of the Executive Officer, whose role encompasses that of the Town Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer, and to deputise in these roles as required. The Deputy Executive Officer has day to day responsibility for alladministrative and financial processes, acting as line manager for two full time and two part-time staff.Closing date: 28th October 2022.Sandhurst Town has a population of approximately 22,000 with a precept of over £530,000 and the Town Council is the land manager for extensive sporting and recreational facilities located at the heart of the community. The Town Council meets bi-monthly andis supported by three bi-monthly principle committees and a Planning Committee meeting every month.This post provides an exciting opportunity to assist with leading the councils work, to manage public finances and provide high quality services to the public.In addition, the postholder will help support town council events and activities that enable the authority to engage with the local community.To apply by midnight 28th October 2022.
