Job Description

Domestic Gas installerPermanentTo £40k dependant on experience and qualifications + Package

  • 40hrs p/w Mon-Fri 8am-4.30pm (Saturday morning optional overtime available)
  • Bonuses paid during busy times, rewards for jobs etc, Christmas. The company is not a target driven business. Van for business use and to/from work, weekly salary, workplace pension, 22 days holiday + Bank holidays, opportunity to grow and develop with the business.
  • Fuel card, Trade UK purchase card
  • Oil and LPG experience would be preferred but not essential.
  • Private domestic housing with a small amount of light commercial premises.
  • Must be used to working neatly and carefully in occupied properties.
  • Mainly working alone, some projects engineers will work together.
  • Would consider part time for an experienced engineer (not flexi time though as difficult to plan jobs)
  • Ideally 10 years plus experience
  • Must have current Gas ACS, clean driving licence (OFTEC, LPG Commercial advantageous)
  • Must be able to complete full installations of major manufacturers - able to wire, brick up, plaster, roof work etc. The company mainly installs Worcester and Baxi.
  • To work constantly on installations - but ideally be capable of picking up a service or repair if necessary. Must be experienced to have the method, speed, and professionalism required by the business.
  • Number of installations per week depends on the job - straight swap, conversion, full system average 2-3 installs per week.
