Job Description

HR CONSULTANT SALFORD QUAYS £30,000 + EXCELLENT BENEIFITSHybrid working offeredREED HR are currently working with market leaders in their field and a fantastic company to work for, they are recruiting an experienced HR Consultant.To develop, implement and run an efficient, proactive HR and administration process, including the management of associated data. Develop and manage effective recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes. To provide effective case management on capabilityand conduct issues, attendance management and grievance matters. Be the first point of contact for all colleague queries and queries from external candidates and service providers. To promote and support our culture through our People Strategy and role modelcorporate behaviours.If you have previous experience within a HR experience and are looking to for a new role within a growing company, then send your CV in for immediate consideration ASAP!THE ROLE:

  • Support managers to recruit and retain talent, through the development and implementation of effective recruitment and selection processes.
  • Manage, maintain and develop the online recruitment system.
  • Work collaboratively with HRBPs to develop onboarding and induction processes.
  • Develop systems to manage the supply and monitoring of agency colleagues
  • Undertake individual projects as agreed with the People BP and Head of People.
  • Provide support and coaching to Line Managers on all aspects of effective People Management.
  • Provide effective case management on capability and conduct issues, attendance, and grievance issues (including conducting investigations, liaising with and advising managers on best practice, case law and policy. Attendance at formal meetings and all associatedadministration to ensure that all matters are resolved efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and standardise all HR administration processes, including the development of the HR system (Cascade) to provide improved access to self-service for managers and colleagues in the following:
    • Up to date, accurate and confidential colleague information
    • Training and Development
    • Benefits Administration
    • Payroll
  • Produce non-standardised HR reports as requested.
  • To provide regular coaching, training and supervision to the People Apprentice in order to develop their skills, knowledge and experience of generalist HR duties, IVH policy and internal systems.
  • Provide information to colleagues on all relevant policies/procedures. Meet with colleagues to explain, discuss and answer any specific queries.
  • Liaise regularly with Occupational Health around advice for sickness absence, ill health and capability cases, along with new starter Post Placement Questionnaires.
  • Be proactive in keeping up to date on new legislation and best practice relating to HR, Employment Law and people management.
  • Undertake continual professional development (CPD) to ensure the continual improvement of HR services.
THE PERSON:
  • Managing own case load is essential
  • CIPD qualification level 5 preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, a team player with the ability to work with people at all levels across the business.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills with working knowledge of HR systems and processes.
