Job Description

Are you looking for your next exciting role in teaching We have a Year 2 role based in Salford that could be for you.Our partner school in Salford are on the lookout for a Year 2 teacher with exceptional knowledge of KS1 learning outcomes and a passion for creating fun, engaging lessons. As the Year 2 teacher in this Ofsted rated Good school you will be paid a competitive, above market rate based on your experience. You will be needed from April 2021 until the end of the academic year.As a school, they prioritise the wellbeing of staff, pupils and families. The senior leadership team are dedicated to their open-door policy and will ensure they provide help where needed. Staff create a caring learning environment with inquiry-based learning at the heard of what they plan and deliver.As the Year 2 teacher you will be responsible for ensuring your class are given adequate opportunities to reach their full potential in a safe, caring learning environment. You will also be required to:

  • Plan and Teaching a balanced and diverse curriculum, preparing pupils for Year 2 SATS
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupils development, attainment and personal needs
  • Make effective use of ICT in the classroom
  • Build pupils love for learning through inspiring learning experiences
  • Develop a classroom environment centred on mutual respect
  • Provide a caring and supportive learning environment

  • Have Qualified Teacher Status

  • Has excellent communication skills, use of initiative and organisational skills
  • Has an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
