Job Description

Are you on the lookout for a full time Year 1 teaching role in Trafford Have you got a caring, creative approach to teaching and learning Contact us today!Our partner school are recruiting and are looking for a caring, motivated Year 1 teacher for their welcoming one form entry school. You will be paid at a competitive rate based on your experience. You will be required from September 2021 for the academic year.The teaching team at this school strive to provide their pupils with as many exciting and captivating opportunities that allow the pupils to realise their full academic and personal potential. The classroom environment fosters development of independent learning skills, whilst maintaining a judgement free atmosphere in which children are free to seek help from staff and peers. This is strengthened by close relationships with families.As the year 1 teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring there is an engaging curriculum that pushes pupils to achieve they best they can. You will also be responsible for:

  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupils attainment and personal development
  • Build strong working relationships with your partner teacher and other class teachers
  • Establishing positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers
  • Encouraging pupils to express their opinions, thoughts and feelings
  • Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
  • Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.
