Job Description

CAD / CAM Programmer– Stockport During Covid-19 restrictions, work will initially be primarily via your own home office with some travel to the office as required for training purposes.An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced CAD / CAM Programmer to join a leading software company that operates on a national and international basis.The successful CAD / CAM Programmersduties will include:

  • Designing, building testing and supporting the delivery of web application solutions, working with UK and international customers
  • Working with .NET applications that utilise the windows workflow foundation
  • Using SQL / Oracle databases for back end
  • Working with new and existing customer accounts to ensure issues and requests are dealt with promptly
    • It is essential that the successful candidate has the following skills and experience
  • Some experience with programming languages – VBScript, JavaScript, C#
  • Relation database and structured query languages experience
  • Commercial experience using CAD
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities
  • Must be willing to travel the UK and internationally to meet customers once restrictions are lifted
    • Desirable skills include
  • Experience using APIS
  • Experienced in network configuration, web technologies, technical documentation writing, in-depth knowledge of windows and window server platforms or SSIS
