Job Description

Senior Structural CAD TechnicianSale, North WestRef MR900Salary up to £32,000We are currently seeking an experienced Structural CAD Technician to join a successful, well established, Civil and Structural design consultancy based in Sale. Working on a host of interesting ventures across commercial, residential and mixed-use buildingstructures projects you will see the project through from inception through to completion stage.Working as a Structural CAD Technician you will;

  • Assist in the preparation of AutoCad and Revit structural drawings
  • Providing support to the Structural engineers
  • Developing and maintain the CAD library
  • Preparation of RC drawings and schedules
  • Assist senior technician
  • Assist is compliance of QA and technical standards
  • Assistance with site inspections
In order to be considered for this Structural CAD Technician role you will;
  • Have gained a HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Previous experience working in a drawing office
  • Proficiency in IT systems
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD with revit being advantageous
  • A general understanding of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete and timber
  • Passionate about new technologies and progressive change
