Job Description

Senior Electrical Design Engineer - SaleRef CTJ1040Salary negotiable depending on skills and experiencePermanentThis is a brand-new opportunity for someone looking to join a recently established department within a high-reputable and successful engineering consultancy based in sale. Our client is a multi-disciplinary firm that works on a range of projects across allsectors within the UK including Residential, Commercial, Education and Retail.The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience leading and developing a team
  • Be able to provide support and advise staff and clients
  • Have a proven track record in the design of electrical systems on a variety of mid to large scale building projects, such as: retail, mixed-use developments, hospitality, healthcare, offices and industrial
  • Have 8-12 years of relevant work experience in design and delivery of projects within the consulting industry
  • Be Proficient in the use of IT systems with experience of using Amtech Pro Design, Dialux and/or Dialux Evo, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Good organisation and multi-tasking skills, displaying accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have a willingness to learn and develop new skills
About the role:
  • Electrical Design of HVAC systems
  • Preparation of electrical design calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Liaise with clients, professional organisations, contractors, suppliers, sub-contractors, and other design
  • Prepare specifications, schedules, drawings, and any other contract documents developed through the RIBA work stages
